About the role

As Talent Acquisition Associate Asia Pacific you’ll partner with a team of dedicated recruiters across Asia Pacific (Australia & New Zealand, India, Japan, Korea and Singapore) to deliver a candidate-centric hiring experience across the region. In this role, you will support all aspects of the recruiting process with a focus on interview scheduling across multiple time zones, organizing travel arrangements for candidates, reserving meeting rooms and coordinating large-scale events, for example for Nike Talent Days and the Nike Internship Program. You’ll problem solve in real-time and make data-driven decisions. Focusing on using technology, you’re always looking for new ways to improve or automate processes at scale. You possess a highly attentive eye for detail and are passionate about delivering superb client and customer service.

A member of our global talent acquisition team, this role will report into the Talent Acquisition Manager Asia Pacific, based in Tokyo.

This role will require some travel to Nike World Headquarters in Portland Oregon.

Responsibilities

  1. Support all aspects of the recruiting process, with a focus on scheduling interviews across multiple time zones, organizing travel arrangements for candidates, reserving meeting rooms, and coordinating large-scale events.

  2. Lead or participate in projects relating to talent attraction, engagement and diversity and inclusion.

  3. Lead or participate in project teams focused on enhancing tools, processes and/or procedures.

  4. Partner with recruiters, hiring managers and team members to effectively use data and insights, to leverage resources, and to find ways to continuously drive innovation.

  5. Manage regular talent acquisition reporting and metrics.

  6. Communicate professionally, tactfully, and with the utmost diplomacy at all times, treating all candidates and Nike colleagues with dignity and respect.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  2. Minimum 2 years’ work experience in a recruitment or related area. Experience working in a multinational organization preferred.

  3. Ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks, and to manage time efficiently.

  4. Demonstrated passion for talent acquisition and/or human resources with a sincere desire to expand exposure and experience in this field.

  5. Ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, changing work environment as a team player who can effectively work with people from a broad range of backgrounds and with varying levels of experience.

  6. Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a desire to contribute to the organization's reputation and success.

  7. Minimum business-level proficiency in Japanese.
