  • Ensuring the integrity of the financial statements and disclosures are in accordance with US GAAP, SEC rules, local statutory requirements, other applicable laws and regulations, Nike Accounting policy and Global NIKE standards;

  • Ensuring effective procedures and controls surrounding the timely closing of financial records, including review for accuracy (cut-off and classification), variance analysis and explanation and review by business representatives;

  • Providing timely and accurate internal reporting; and ensuring the completion of relevant reporting packages in support of timely and accurate

  • Proactively communicate with the global financial reporting team to identify issues and risks to ensure a smooth and high quality of the financial reporting process at local

  • Deliver the training when accounting policy is changed and share wth implications with business stakeholders. Cascade the system knowledge, share best practice, foster a good understanding of financial reporting system for the local end-users Contribute and engage actively in periodic financial closing process

  • Manages team and sets team and individual goals that align with department and function goals. Coaches staff, creates opportunities for staff development, drives performance management, recognition and rewards. Develops team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure

  • Ability to operate with a high degree of independence

  • Ability to and willing to work overtime when deliverable timeline demands extra time than usual
