Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

  • Evangelize andcultivate adoption of Analytics Platform, open source software and Dev Opsprinciples within the organization

  • Ensure solutions aredesigned and developed using a scalable, highly resilient cloud nativearchitecture

  • Participate in theutilization of a fully automated self-service platform in AWS that could alsowork in a hybrid cloud environment

  • Ensure productand technical features are delivered to spec and on-time

  • Develop tools andframeworks to improve security, reliability, maintainability, availability andperformance for the technology foundation of our platform

  • Build CoE for DataPlatform and evangelize best practices, standards, financial chargeback models

  • Lead next generationbig data analytics platform in the cloud, with emphasis on automation and scale

  • Be a key contributor tooverall architecture, framework and design of Data & Analytics Platform

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, Information Systems or other relevant subject area

  • 2 years' additionalrelevant experience in lieu of a degree

  • 5+ years of experience with large-scale dataengineering with emphasis on data analytics and reporting

  • Strong experience with SQL and Relational databaseengineering (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata)— expert-level SQL abilities

  • Experience developing with scriptinglanguages such as Shell and Python

  • Experience with agile delivery methodologiesin a fast-paced complex environment – Scrum, SAFe, Extreme Programming

  • Strong ability to multi-task and balancemultiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to partner with business andtechnology team members, to understand business requirements and translatethose into value-add technology solutions

  • Ability to pass a 7-year backgroundinvestigation

  • Experience withparticipating in projects in a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinedevelopment team environment

  • Experience building solutions with datavisualization and reporting tools (Tableau, Cognos)
