As a Global Supplier Relationship Manager, you will be part of the global logistics team that will lead implementation of SRM initiatives and projects. You will develop, deploy and manage operational performance / compliance standards as well as drive continuity across the global logistics’ supplier portfolio in partnership with NIKE Inc. geographies.

In this role you will:

  • Utilize your supply chain, supplierrelationship management expertise to deploy logistics SRM initiatives withinternal/external supply chain leaders

  • Need strong team management andinfluencing skills in order to lead the coordination and deployment ofNike Inc.’s operational compliance and supplier performance excellenceinitiative

  • Need experience on logistics processes(warehousing, transportation) to influence and develop suppliers todeliver Nike capabilities needs.

  • Need to collaborate with global andgeography teams to ensure the highest level and consistency of performance,HSE practices and technology ismaintained across Nike Inc.’s suppliers, and actively seek their input andperspective when making improvements to existing tools/processes, solvingproblems and making decisions

  • Will utilize Lean, Warehousing andTransportation experience to identify collaboration areas with NikeLogistics Suppliers

  • Be expected to navigate the Nike“Matrix” of internal stakeholders and collaboratively make fact-basedHealth and Safety decisions informed by collective expertise, strategicbusiness priorities, stakeholder input, and most importantly data drivenmetrics

  • Facilitate meetings with suppliers andinternal NIKE stakeholders (eg. project, performance, compliance updatesand reviews)

  • Develop, Implement, Manage and measurerelated performance and supplier Performance Indicators

  • Develop and execute project plansleveraging project management tools/methods

  • Build and manage transition to ensurebusiness change readiness with stakeholders (eg. roles/responsibilities,processes, tools, systems)

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Businessor other related area, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5 years of practicalexperience required managing suppliers (service levels, pricing, supplier relationshipdevelopment, supplier performance and compliance management)

  • Minimum 5 years practical complianceexperience leading, influencing, and executing HSE, Technological andOperational Nike Strategies

  • Experience in Lean, Warehousingand Transportation

  • Experience in transformationalleadership concepts, project management, change management, and theory ofchange in a matrixed organization

  • Experience with transactionalleadership concepts, defining KPI’s, analyzing problems, and solvingproblems.

  • Ability to maintain flexibleattitude and approach towards assignments and successfully operate underambiguous guidelines

  • Experience in leadingcross-cultural, cross-functional and virtual teams (including functionallydiverse work)

  • Effective written and verbalcommunication skills (including ability to define problems and lead teamsin solving them)

  • High level ofproficiencyin using desktop tools for communication and analysis, including MSPowerPoint, Excel and Word

Travel: 5% of time
