Description

This role will serve as the lead on APLA Gross to Net over a rolling 18 month period but also support full P&L in-year performance management activities.Specifically, this role will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing & interpreting Gross to Net Actuals & Forecast for stakeholders within the Geography and Global (including CFO Reviews, QBR presentations, Finance updates for APLA LT and S&OP forums)

  • Understanding Territory marketplace dynamics and corresponding Revenue risks & opportunities to provide a point of view on Geography portfolio management for in year

  • Developing strong functional partnerships to ensure consistent interpretation of Gross to Net lever

  • Leading the 18 month Net Revenue Rolling Forecast process

  • Leading the monthly Geography Monthly Operating and Financial Overview process

  • Attending & contributing to S&OP meetings (Territory & Management); leading functional updates

Making recommendations and running point on projects to drive process efficiencies

  • The ideal candidate for this role would:

  • Have experience in one or more of the following areas:Gross to Net management, Integrated Business Planning and/or Marketplace Analytics

  • Be naturally curious and enjoy “digging in” and understanding how information is sourced, connects and is leveraged across the organization

  • Enjoy fast-paced, dynamic work environments and continuous process evolution

  • Be able to analyze and connect the dots and between cross functional information to drive insights and make recommendations

  • Have excellent communication skills & enjoy partnering with and influencing business partners (within Finance and cross functionally) to drive consistency, efficiency and process improvement

  • Be thoughtful about how to prioritize time and resources (including requests from Territories and cross-functional partners) to ensure focus on work that drives value

  • Be a self-starter who can work with limited oversight

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline

  • 6+ years' experience in financial reporting, financial planning, strategic planning and/or annual budgeting

  • 2 years' additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Advanced level degree or accounting certification may be considered in lieu of 1 year experience

  • Attention to detail in the development of management quality reporting and analytics for executive-level personnel

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a large organization

  • Proven strong financial analysis skills; technical corporate finance, accounting, and valuation skills

  • Superior written and oral presentation skills; ability to communicate and present to senior management (PowerPoint proficient)

  • Strong proficiency with financial analysis tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Access

  • Problem structuring and strategic problem solving skills

  • Attention to detail in the development of management quality reporting and analytics for senior management

  • Ability to pass a 7 year background check

Preferred:

  • MBA (with a concentration on Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field), CPA or CMA is strongly preferred

  • Experience in a Fortune 500 consumer products or other multi-national firm

  • Experience in investment banking, management consulting, or financial planning and analysis at a large corporation

  • Experience with SAP (COPA, BW, ECCS)
