As the Manager, Cloud Automation you will lead and deliver engineering that defines the architecture for a scalable and completely automated continuous delivery in AWS. As a member of the TechOps Cloud Automation team you will design, develop and support tools and processes that enable application teams to efficiently and securely develop applications for AWS.

Qualifications

To make it clear, we're not looking for just anyone. We're looking for someone special, someone who had these experiences and clearly demonstrated these skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; 2 years' additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree

• Responsible for building, training, and mentoring the group responsible for the AWS multi-tenant account strategy and implementation

• Coordinate with other engineering and cloud technology teams in Europe and Asia

• Participate in key business, architectural, and technical decisions

• Provide a clear vision and prioritization for AWS multi-tenant account strategy and deployment pipelines

• Work with various other "cloud" teams to ensure a consistent baseline for governance and standards

• Partner with Corporate Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, and Governance teams

• Drive the creation of documentation and training for Nike application teams deploying into AWS

• Experience working in Amazon Web Services required

• A generalist approach and insatiable curiosity are necessary

• Willingness to continually learn, experiment, and self-improve

• A vocal, assertive, and helpful disposition

• Ability to drive consensus and solutions

• Strong communication, presentation, and listening skills

• “Just Do It” mindset - perfection is the enemy of progress

• 3 years of experience in a Technical Lead role

• 2 years of experience working in an Agile team including Scrum, Kanban, or XP

• 2 years of experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines
