Working with a cross functional team including planners, buyers, merchandisers, allocators, and other functions you will craft strategies to meet and exceed our aspirational goals.As a Retail Planner, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and operational efficiency for Nike Partner stores in France.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast appropriate style, color, store level investment quantities.

  • Influencing cross functional team members and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure that Nike Direct has the right product in the right quantity to meet consumer demand.

  • Supporting the development of multi-category planning strategy across multiple product types: Apparel, Footwear, and Equipment.

  • Developing seasonal direction for sales, margin, option and inventory management and leading post launch in-season trading to deliver and exceed seasonal targets for product revenue and profitability.

  • Communicating planning strategies, vision, and business results to cross functional and category business partners.

  • Communicating daily with planning management to share business updates and lead integration of planning with the buying processes and allocation team.

  • Analyzing performance and results of planning strategies and making tactical adjustments to leverage opportunities for increased profitability.

  • Collaborating andaligning with external Partner accounts on pre-season plans and in-seasontrade.

  • Conducting regular storevisits to verify strategies are executed as planned and to gain insightsto be used for creation of future strategies.

  • Providing customerservice to external Partner accounts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's /Master/ MBA degree in Business, Merchandising, Inventory Management, or a related field.

  • 5 years’ experience in retail Merchandising/ Planning is preferred.

  • 2 years of managerial experience in planning.

  • Experience in sales department is preferred.

  • Ability to solve complex problems; take a new perspective using existing solutions.

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Windows applications, particularly Excel.

  • Strong knowledge of process-flow through supply chain.

  • Proficient information seeking skills and drive for results.

  • Ability to share ideas and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management.

  • Ability to network, utilize internal and external resources, deliver commitments, and to meet timelines.

  • Fluency in English & French both written and verbal.
