Description

Based in Paris, you will be in charge of the creation and implementation of a strategic brand plan and the management of execution across the North region to fuel consumer demand, drive brand strength and strengthen the connection with the Nike Training consumer.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership, Vision and Strategic Planning

• Be the category brand leader for Nike Training in North. Act as the primary category brand connection point for the North region;

• Build, grow, serve and engage with the North Training consumer;

• Establish a strong connection with the North Training consumer and ensure the consumer engagement is served across the brand network;

• Timely and effective delivery of seasonal Marketing Plans;

• Drive cross business marketing budget process for the category, ensuring visibility of all relevant category and functional spend and influence alignment against priorities.

Consumer Connectivity

• Lead consumer connectivity and concept development. Lead the process to gain insight from consumers spanning the training facets. Identify cultural trends within the training community with a strong focus on Paris;

• Integrate the city voice thru regular input sessions on consumer insights and emerging trends with EMEA training teams;

• Assess key concepts against the city and training community insights to drive a robust concept map.

Drive execution of category marketing plan

• Drive excellence in brand execution of Nike Training category initiatives, maximizing the creation of demand and sustained consumer connectivity across all marketing channels;

• Ensure alignment, creativity and insight in all marketing disciplines and focus on cross functional execution of marketing programs;

• Work with functional marketing teams to plan & design a specific role for each marketing function to enhance impact of messages. Integrate communication across all relevant marketing levers, engageing the marketing mix most relevant to drive a strong seasonal campaing season after seaons.

People Management and Leadership

• Serve as a key member of the Nike Training category brand team in North and EMEA and work with the Brand Functions (IRM, Brand and Corporate Communications, Digital Brand and Sports marketing) in leading planning, development and executions of brand integrated marketing initiatives for Nike Training;

• Provide clear communication across the matrix, and across EMEA and the countries. Act as an advocate for the Nike Training, the training consumer, and the Nike Brand as a whole;

• Regularly communication and feed back to EMEA and functions on progresses and evolution of strategies and priorities, to ensure constant regional alignment.

Qualifications

• 5 years marketing and campaign experience including strategy, delivery and creative thinking and event execution;

• Ability to analyze market place, consumer and trends;

• Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization;

• Ability to network, co-operate, and leverage internal / external resources;

• Leadership and coaching skills to lead functional teams and large cross-functional projects;

• The candidate needs ability to bring consumer insights from the training community to the desk, build, develop and manage projects; interprets customer needs, assesses requirements and identifies solutions to non-standard requests;

• Must have knowledge, experience and strong passion for Training;

• Must be able to demonstrate ability to work with athletes;

• Strong verbal and written communication skills both French and English;

• Strong information seeking skills and drive to make things happen;

• Demonstrate Brand passion and act with integrity;

• Be part of a fast-paced, high energy, talented team of marketers that have a passion for sport and creating meaningful connections between consumers and the Nike brand.
