Description

As our Inventory Control Manager, you'll provide leadership, direction and vision for the control of inventory. You'll direct inventory control activities that ensure the accuracy and control of inventory transactions and balances. You'll also develop, implement and validate policies, procedures, controls and systems that prevent, detect and correct errors in inventory transactions and balances while maintaining appropriate segregation of duties. You'll manage inventory verification programs that comply with corporate policies and provide ongoing measurements on inventory accuracy by area. You'll direct a structured problem-solving approach that results in the continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and establish goals, direct root cause analysis of inventory errors, identify the most critical process failures contributing to inventory errors, facilitate the development and implementation of process improvements and evaluate the effectiveness of actions taken. You'll have input in the development of forecasts and budgets and support inventory information needs of internal customers throughout the organization. In addition, you'll be responsible for leading the Inventory Control team including the development, implementation and monitoring of an internal quality process. Qualifications

Requirements for this position:

  • Bachelor's degree inBusiness Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline

  • 5 years' managementexperience

  • 2 years' additionalexperience in lieu of a degree

  • M.B.A. or CPIM certificationis highly desirable

  • Demonstrated strengthwith critical thinking

  • Demonstrated record ofdeveloping technical and analytical skills within a staff

  • Excellent written andverbal communication skills with attention to the audience

  • Effective cross-functionalproject management

  • Ability to manage andprioritize workload and staff across on and off site facilities
