As the manager of financial planning in the North American Supply Chain, you will be accountable for the execution of finance processes and drive improvement initiatives for multiple distribution centers in the Memphis network.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Set the strategy and lead a team responsible for delivery of financial reporting, interpretation of financial results, and analysis / recommendations on investment activities.

  • Drive completion of annual business plan, monthly close and forecast processes through communication with supply chain partners, review of financial results, and communication with finance leadership.

  • Investigate ways to improve profitability and analyze markets for business opportunities.

  • Translate strategic plans into a financial impact, reporting metrics in a reliable and easy to understand format, and working with operational business partners to prioritize initiatives.

  • Perform analysis that aids in the supply chain decision making process, identifies trends, risks and opportunities in the portfolio, and create action plans to mitigate risk and leverage opportunities.

  • Actively interpret and review financial results with supply chain partners and Finance to drive actionable responses and alignment.

  • Develop trends and projections for the company’s major cost elements.

  • Foster collaboration, strategic alignment and integrated planning and execution across different functions in a matrix organization.

  • Facilitate discussions on complex topics to drive clarity and understanding among a diverse set of stakeholders.

  • Lead a team of financial analysts, setting goals and objectives and ensuring that career development and succession planning is in place.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a closely related field and at least four years relevant work experience.

  • Proven experience as a manager responsible for overseeing and leading the work of a group.

  • Supply Chain experience a plus; specifically focused on distribution center operations.

  • MBA in Finance, Economics or a related field is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis.

  • Experience working for a Fortune 500 / multinational consumer products company is a plus.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and anticipate the needs of a changing landscape.

  • Strong ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Knowledge of SAP including R3 and BW preferred.
