Description

As a Business Planning Analyst, you will have an exceptional opportunity to leverage your analytical mindset, effective communication skills and data visualization expertise to challenge status quo and enable operational excellence at the Shelby Distribution Center within the Memphis DC Network.

You will:

• Guarantee operational excellence in day-to-day reporting activities; executing all necessary steps needed to produce reports; ensure Data integrity (validate information), timeliness of reports (committing to deadlines), clarity & presentation of reports, accessibility & user friendliness.

• Define, track and communicate building-wide and departmental KPIs across the distribution center; identify opportunities and provide recommendations for process improvement

• Drive creation of interactive and user-friendly analytical tools that enable a fact-based decision making process and executive storytelling

• Drive adoption of these tools by conducting user training sessions, communicating effectively with various stakeholders and influencing without authority

Core Accountabilities

Develop and maintain business KPIs, analyze data, identify root causes and present findings and recommendations to drive key business decisions. Support the business by developing interactive and user-friendly data visualizations for both strategic and tactical consumption.

Identify gaps in end-to-end performance and use data to measure continuous improvement efforts. Partner and collaborate with key stakeholders on intake requests. Investigate supported requests to reach a solution that can enable operational excellence for Shelby.

Build knowledge to be a resident expert on the data infrastructure within Business Planning at Shelby. Challenge status quo, identify process improvement opportunities and effectively translate marketplace needs into new tools for planning.

Effectively manage development projects to completion. Identify and proactively manage stakeholders that have influence and/or are impacted by your projects. Clearly define project timelines and scope; communicate proactively and strategically, and provide training to end-users as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements for this position include:

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or related field

· 3+ years of experience working in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or Finance field

· Basic SQL skills, Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

· Strength in strategic problem solving and effective communication skills (written and verbal)

· Strength in cross-functional teams in a dynamic business environment

· Great listening skills and openness to different points of view

· Self-starter, eager to learn, result-oriented and creative thinker

· Experience in dashboard development using data visualization tools such as Tableau preferred

· Experience with database structure and development preferred

· Experience with Access preferred
