Nike Supply Chain experts ensure that every year 900 million pieces of footwear, apparel and equipment arrive at the right destination on time. That’s no easy task. Description

In this role, you are overseeing and enabling the people, resources and processes required to deliver Software solutions that support the Logistics operation in EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa). You own a portfolio of EMEA specific software solutions and manage the team that is delivering and maintaining these solutions. Next to that, you enable the necessary processes and collaboration models to make sure that the relevant global solutions get implemented in the EMEA geography. Besides delivering new solutions, you make sure that the existing solutions get enhanced, modernized, and decommissioned when needed and you make sure there is a development strategy in place that gives the teams a clear direction. You are part of the IT/Technology Leadership team and will be reporting into the Senior Director EMEA Supply Chain Technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the software solutions domain including product mgmt., solution delivery and agile process facilitation

  • Empower teams through servant leadership

  • Define and implement the development vision and strategy

  • Ensure strategic capacity planning

  • Build strong relationships with the Logistics functions and other IT teams (local & global) to deliver Logistics capabilities in alignment

  • Oversee departmental finances, including budgeting and forecasting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/ Master’s degree in IT or Business Administration

  • 5-7 years relevant & professional experience – preferably at an international/ multinational company in a Logistics/ Supply Chain oriented environment

  • Experience in Agile software development environment and scaled agile frameworks

  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures

  • Experience in aligning cross-functional, and virtual teams

  • Strong relationship-building skills; ability to create trust among diverse personal styles

  • Exceptional listening & great high-profile communication/storytelling skills

  • High tolerance for ambiguity

  • Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and Domain Driven Design concepts is a plus
