The Consumer Direct Offense brings us closer to the consumer, and Nike Digital Direct is truly at the center of this strategy as the ultimate consumer connection. Digital Direct always starts with the consumer with the focus to build strategies that bring to life our brand stories.

As the X-CAT Nike Digital Direct Marketing & Membership Manager, you will lead the offense on direct marketing and membership strategies. You will be responsible for leading the XCAT Digital Strategy & Seasonal activation across EMEA to bring to life retail moments and commercial opportunities in the marketplace, and drive heat in the market with a key focus on Nikes Owned Digital Ecosystem.

You will be responsible for evolving and driving the digital membership strategy and lead its execution x- categorically in EMEA.

You ensure we consistently serve our Nike members with extraordinary access to a world of products, experts and services dedicated to helping them to get better.

You find opportunities to bridge the gap between physical and digital to maximize existing channels, alongside exploring new partnerships that allow us to connect with our consumers and give them new experiences and drive a deeper, long term connection with the Nike Brand.

You will put Nike.com at the heart to develop creative and innovative ways to connect our consumer to our products and innovations and deliver Traffic and Demand across all channels and help shape the future of retail.

Driving and owning the holistic Seasonal activation and planning for Direct Digital, you will partner closely with the wider Digital Direct team (Apps, Targeted Comms, Digital Design, Performance & GCK) alongside the wider Nike Direct Team to develop and build an integrated plan across our owned ecosystem to ensure we are telling premium and connected brand stories for Nike Members across Nike.com, our Apps and traffic driving Channels to deliver Demand on Nike.com.

You will look for new and innovative partners, concepts and channels to drive Traffic and Demand to Nike.com and work closely with Territory teams to support bringing to life any hyper local activations for the city by the city.

As a Manager, you will be responsible for developing and coaching the Digital Direct Specialist in your team, providing the support and guidance they need to deliver their goals.

As Nike Digital Direct Manager you will report to the Director of Nike Digital Direct, with a dotted line to the Membership Director.

Key responsibilities

Lead X-Category Digital Strategy and planning

  1. Workwith cross functional teams to identify commercial opportunities in themarketplace. Map out seasonal priorities and KPI’s into an editorial frameworkthat delivers personal service to Nike members/ consumers.

  2. Lead anddevelop holistic seasonal digital plans, with a key focus on Nike ownedecosystem. Obsess digital consumer journey across all digital touch pointssecuring alignment & consistency across the team.

  3. Partnerwith wider Digital Direct Team (Apps/Targeted Comms) to develop, plan andexecute integrated cross channel plans that drive traffic and demand tonike.com

  4. Driveheat in the market by being innovative and creative in the story telling &how we connect consumers to Nike.com and our product

  5. Proactivelylook for new ways to bridge physical and digital

Drive NikePlus Membership strategy & targets.

  1. Develop and drive proposals to find newapproaches to deliver individual member services at scale.

  2. Make amember feel like a member by focusing on contactable member acquisition;driving innovative services and engagement model and drive retention strategiesacross categories.

Build and lead the X-Category team

  1. Managethe xcat Nike+ team across planning and execution and set clear expectation anddeliverables for team members.

  2. Manage,coach and develop the Digital Direct Category Specialist(s) in your team tosupport on planning and execution of all content on Nike.com

  3. Be theexpert of nike.com insights & numbers to put nike.com at the center of thedigital consumer journey

  4. Provide regular reporting for the x-cat teamand leadership, working with Merch, Analytics and GCK to create teamunderstanding on successes and area’s for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor and minimum of 3-5years relevant working experience in digital

  • Strong strategic thinking

  • Passion for and excellent understanding of digital channels, digital commerce and social landscape, trends and consumer behavior

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the passion to develop and coach a team

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Strong presenter

  • Experience of collaborating effectively with other functions, departments and external stakeholders

  • Passion for reinventing the way we approach traditional channels

  • Open and honest approach to develop strong working partnerships with respect for others

  • Have good judgment and decision-making skills

  • Experience working in and passionate about sport, the sports lifestyle and the culture around it.

  • Strong verbal and written communication in English
