As Nike’s Technical Product Director, you will lead the vision and roadmap of world-class digital experiences for athletes for Nike’s EMEA Geography. You will be part of the Digital Engineering organization, and will contribute to definition and execution of the product vision and strategy. You will identify market opportunities to take advantage of and work closely with the Global Nike Digital Product and Engineering organizations to bring new capabilities to life.

You will define a roadmap and product priorities based on a strong understanding of consumer needs, insights, and an even stronger handle on in-depth data analysis. You will provide direction for leaders across product management, program management, engineering, design, and quality assurance. You will represent the needs of the European consumers in prioritization across global opportunities.

Working within a larger product team, you will be a leader who effectively organizes resources appropriately to achieve business objectives. You will also partner with executives across multiple functions to develop a cohesive product strategy, product roadmap, and to ensure business objectives are met. Above all, you will be a constant champion for the needs of our consumers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Set the strategic direction for ourdigital capability products, develop and drive a product roadmap in partnershipwith other Nike business stakeholders

  • Management: Lead x-functional andmultidisciplinary teams, with direct and indirect managementrelationships.

  • Influencing: Create visibility to Europe specificneeds in our Global team, and generate appetite to solve for those needs.

  • Product lifecycle management: Manage theend-to-end lifecycle of complex products from conception to product/ market fitand growth

  • Product strategy & vision: Create andeffectively champion a data-driven, market-informed product vision &strategy

  • Product roadmap definition: Develop a productfeature and release roadmap based on in-depth data analysis, a clearunderstanding of consumer needs

  • Prioritization: Drive alignment of EMEApriorities for backlog of features and functionality and participate in globalprioritization process

  • Planning and Execution: Effectively design projectplans based on priorities, set clear/measurable objectives and deploy teamresources appropriately to achieve business goals

  • Product Specifications: Write and consult onproduct specifications, manage design challenges and execute agile product delivery

  • Analytics and Experimentation: Develop andmeasure product KPIs, derive key insights, and devise and execute experimentsand multivariate tests to find product solutions

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design and Programmanagement leaders throughout completion of milestones and partner with brandmarketing and central research/analytics teams throughout the product’slifecycle

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master degree required, MBA preferred

  • At least 9 years of experience in product management; consumer mobile or web product experience required

  • Experience with a variety of Payment types and vendors in a digital commerce/web environment

  • Demonstrated ability to lead high performance, cross-functional teams

  • Exceptional data analysis skills

  • Ability to create product deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, and requirements specifications; experience with cloud-based software tools preferred

  • Experience managing live mobile app or web experiences with multivariate testing preferred, but not required

  • Experience managing priorities with third party vendors and key partners

  • Outstanding written/oral, organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detail

  • Ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals and give insight on industry trends

  • Strong project management skills and ability to present work to executive stakeholders

  • Strong passion for creating engaging, compelling fitness and sports user experiences

  • Previous start-up, social networking and/or software consulting experience a strong plus
