Description

Responsibilities

Project Planning

• Develop, coordinate and manage the project plan for executing and controlling the project, including time schedules, budget and organization.

• Partner with European HQ and global functions to ensure strategic alignment

• Develop, coordinate and manage the basic project design criteria and general specifications.

• Review and arrange for approval sign-off on all design documents and installation details for project with appropriate parties.

Project Execution and Control

• Coordinate and manage all work on the project that is required to meet contract obligations.

• Maintain and update project schedules, budgets and procure Nike fit-out elements.

• Procure Nike fit-out elements and monitor delivery status.

• Closely monitor project activities for conformity to scope.

• Interpret, communicate, and require compliance with contracts, the approved plan, project procedures and general corporate directives.

Project Closeout

• Obtain final acceptance of deliverables by obtaining formal approval from appropriate stakeholders to achieve closeout.

• Deliver project closeout documents, including final cost-reconciliation, punch lists, warranties and manuals.

• Document lessons-learned and share these for the benefit of future projects.

Management Support

• Foster and develop a spirit of project team effort.

• Contribute to the project management knowledge base by sharing best practices, in order to improve the quality of project management services and build the capabilities of colleagues.

• Continuously value-engineer and re-evaluate store concepts for better cost/value comparison.

Qualifications

Profile

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Architecture, Construction Engineering/ Management/Surveying or related field.

• At least 5 years’ experience in retail construction project management.

• Multi-project management and planning experience within retail preferred.

• Understanding of the competitive retail market, customers and trends.

• Be able to use financial data to make sound decisions on budget management and maximization of revenues, profits and sales opportunities.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Fluent in English both written and spoken. Knowledge of any other European language is a plus.

• Computer proficient (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, AutoCAD).
