Nike Supply Chain experts ensure that every year 900 million pieces of footwear, apparel and equipment arrive at the right destination on time. That’s no easy task. Creating these insights requires a capability to source, organise and present data into meaningful insights that resonates with the business strategy of many stakeholders. You will be coaxing the business along on a cultural change journey.

What are we looking for:

The Marketplace Operations Performance Analyst supports a sustainable performance management cycle to ensure effective delivery of reporting, tracking and data analysis to drive decision making to maximize revenue, margin and keep the market clean. You will contribute one or more of the following core skills to the analyst team:

  • ability to engineer data (source it, bring meaning to it and improve its quality)

  • proficiency in calculating metrics / KPIs for performance management and visualization

  • supply chain knowledge to drive business process improvement

  • project management skills

You’ll succeed through intimate collaboration with peers across the end-to-end supply chain. You will have a strong Service Mindset, the ability to look End-to-End across the Value Chain and think from the Consumer.

Examples of your responsibilities:

  • Ensuring Quality, On-time relevant Data & Reporting is in place to manage Seasonal Marketplace Performance

  • Building sustainable and scalable data products in partnership with Nike Technology, data scientists and business users

  • Developing automatic data driven processes and decision making

  • Establish, grow and maintain Data & Reporting related tools, information base and processes.

  • Set-up the Integrated Marketplace channels, territories and top account teams with tools, best practices, and insights to elevate performance. Contribute to the success of the integrated account teams and drive ongoing process improvements

  • Participate and lead aspects of the development of reliable, responsive, and actionable insights through the Seasonal Performance Management Framework

  • Prepare Data Findings with clear action points on a continuous basis in support of Marketplace Operations teams in Territories, across functions and Senior Management

  • Provide input to analytics solutions to enhance Nike EMEA’s Marketplace Operations via business intelligence, descriptive and predictive analytics

We are looking for a diverse team with a passion for Data, Reporting & Performance Management. It would be advantageous for candidates to have as many of the below skills, though not all are expected:

  • A numerical, scientific or computationally based qualification or relevant experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ relevant experience in a commercial environment

  • Experience in a Data and Reporting Organization

  • Experience in big data environments and data architecture

  • Experience working within agile methodology

  • Technically proficient on reporting solutions and tools like COGNOS, Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Alteryx and Excel

  • Proven aptitude to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze, develop hypothesis and make recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Strong problem solving capability to tackle complicated issues

  • Project management experience

  • Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills, with capacity to interact with all levels in the organization

  • Bias for action, drive for results while demonstrating positive attitude and enthusiasm

  • Curious, and ambitious
