So here’s a deal. We will make unique, interesting stuff that people want. You will handle the money and tell us what money is saying to you. In this role as Finance SG&A Manager you are on top of all numbers related to Demand Creation and OPEX for the Western Europe region.

Whatis keeping you busy?

  • Own the preparation and distribution of timely and insightfulfinancial analysis of pertinent information to determine progress againststrategic plan, budget, forecast, and to support external financialdecisions.

  • Look for opportunities to assist managers in more efficient oreffective ways to invest their resources. Reviews risks and opportunitiesof plans with financial management (Headcount closely with HR,investment/divestment).

  • Drive the interpretation and review of financial results within assignedarea of responsibility.

  • Perform analysis that aids in the decision making process, whichinclude scenario and investment analysis.

  • Generate budgets that incorporate strategic business planobjectives and appropriate assumptions.

  • Lead the monthly forecasting process of the WE region byterritories and central functions (Wages, rent, sales meetings, other SG&Aand Demand creation/brand investments).

  • Michael Jordan said it quite right; talent winsgames, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships. To be successful inthis role, you need to be part of a strong team and work with:

  • The Financial Planning team’s support of the Controlling team’sultimate responsibility for the integrity of the financial statements(management and statutory) and compliance with US GAAP.

  • Local accounting staff on the documentation of Corporate andRegion accounting policies and procedures.

  • Corporate FP&A team to align on reporting requirements.

  • Territory and partner finance leads to understand and manage risksand opportunities across the portfolio.

  • This role belongs to our WE Finance team and reports into theFinancial Planning Director. You will manage an intern and drive individualdevelopment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Business Administration or likewise, CPA preferred

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a multinational consumer products company, strong preference for successful record in Financial Planning

  • Excellent communication skills - able to influence at a variety of levels (senior director level) and across functions in a complex matrix organization and to build a plan and motivate others towards a common vision

  • Excellent stakeholder management experience

  • Ability to deliver results against tight and complex timelines plus ability to navigate large amount of information: extract long term and prioritized actions or deep diving into details

  • Team player attitude, creative and curious mindset, solid positive energy, stress resistance and confidence

  • Outstanding presentation skills, experience with presentation to diverse audiences

  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
