Description

At Converse Operations our mission is to “be the accelerator for growth by delivering premium consumer experiences”. We will continuously develop this by investing in the right talents and building a global Sales & Operations Planning team.

As Western Europe S&OP Director, you will play a key role in realizing the Geography’s potential, driving and delivering sustained, mutually profitable growth and profitability. You will be a strategic thought partner across the marketplace to evaluate Demand and Supply on a short and long term. You will need to demonstrate strong business acumen and the ability to take analytics to insights and translate these into clear and simple actions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive input into the S&OP vision and strategy across the global Converse organization

  • Design and orchestrate the regionalization of the Global S&OP strategy and process in WE

  • Influence the leadership team in WE to achieve a sound and aligned decision making process

  • Manage the in-Geo S&OP process and x-functional alignment

  • Manage the contents for the Executive S&OP meeting on a monthly basis

  • Prepare and run weekly Pre-executive S&OP meetings with stakeholders in EMEA

  • Align teams around franchises, in season and cross seasonal S&OP execution

  • Influence the development of new planning process aimed at optimizing the service level and reducing the overall inventory

Qualifications

  • Relevant Master degree and/or professional qualification.

  • At least 10 years directly relevant work experience; a proven expertise in planning and analysis in an international environment, and preferably in Retail Industry.

  • A vision on how to deliver benefits out of a structured S&OP process and a capability to do so

  • Ability to engage and influence leaders across the organization to realize the benefits of the S&OP process

  • Strong communication skills: ability to communicate complex concepts and ideas in a simple way, and influence stakeholders across the organization.

  • System and Design thinking – an effective process builder that leverages the value of consistency, cadence and decision making.

  • Experience working in a matrix organization is considered an advantage.

  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
