Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Director of e-commerce EMEA, and with a dotted line to the Global Converse e-commerce Analytics Director, the e-Commerce Analytics Manager will be responsible for delivering the insights which shape decision-making around e-commerce for one of the most iconic brands in the world.

You will be delivering insights and recommendations to improve the trading performance of converse.com, to enhance the customer's experience of shopping online, and to support Converse DTC and ecommerce leadership to set its strategic direction and develop the overall customer proposition.

  • Create consistent tracking, analysis and reporting of core KPIs across Converse’s digital channels (site, social, email) in daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly dashboard formats (page views, clicks, conversion, etc.) that drive effective business decision-making.

  • Provide statistics on traffic, orders, conversion, sources of traffic, etc. to drive improvements in overall consumer experience, online sales and margins.

  • Analyze performance and impact of performance marketing initiatives on online consumer behavior, conversion and revenue

  • Forecast core site KPI performance on a monthly basis

  • Analyze clickstream data and segment site visitors to discover trends in visitor behavior

  • Identify traffic and conversion trends by channel, abandonment issues and opportunities for improving site conversion

  • Work closely with Site Experience team in managing online checkout performance, conversion, tests, and sales; Plan and execute consumer feedback via A/B testing, and site analytics to improve upon existing or proposed functionalities.

  • Manage, maintain and take full ownership over all page tagging and validating the quality of data that is captured within web analytics tool; Provide site tagging requirements for (new) site content and functionality

  • Lead analysis projects for Performance Marketing, Site Merchandising and Brand Marketing teams to provide insights into user behavior and to drive higher sell-thru on key items

  • Staying on top of current industry trends and best practices in web analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field

  • Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience with at least 5 years of web analytics or online business intelligence experience;

  • Passion to drive business decisions with data and analyses

  • Excellent quantitative skills and the proven ability to analyze, synthesize and distill large volumes of data down to key takeaways

  • Excellent working knowledge of web analytics tools, experience with Omniture, Tableau required

  • Working knowledge of business intelligence (BI) environments

  • Strong understanding of web technologies, experience with Demandware a plus.

  • Deep knowledge of digital data & analytics, including tracking methodologies, website page tagging, attribution models, dashboards and correlation analyses; experience with tagging tools like Tealium is a plus

  • Proven experience in designing, executing and analyzing A/B and multivariate testing and on-site surveys

  • Strong knowledge of quantitative analysis concepts used in online, email, and search engine marketing

  • Proven ability to make analytics understandable for larger audiences, to present actionable insights from analytics findings and to make clear recommendations to senior management

  • Ability to work across cultures and geographies to support local digital needs

  • Self starter mentality and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
