Description

As a Business Analyst within the HR Operations Organization, you will be responsible for work which is focused on the company's human capital. Work as part of an integrated team to drive and define solutions to business issues, through utilization of HR systems, people, processes, and tools.

The GQA team (Governance Quality & Analysis) is a function within Core HR operations. As a key member within the EMEA GQA team and as part of the wider global GQA team you will be working with HR operations teams to deliver large project execution, providing consulting expertise, identifying opportunities for operational improvements, and help shape analytics used throughout the operations teams.

• You will partner with Snr consultants, HR Leaders and Functions to support the delivery of new programs and enhancements across operations, with a focus on Core HR Operations

• Utilize data to provide impactful analysis, prioritized focus areas and supporting recommendations to support senior Core HR leaders drive quality & controls strategies within the organization.

• Help shape and implement operational processes, metrics, data standards and controls to improve the quality and effectiveness of Core HR services (hiring, promoting, employee movement, time & pay, etc.).

• Leverage best practices and continuously challenge the status quo by championing new, creative ideas through well structured, well-supported, and clearly articulated points of view, balancing risk, reward, and trade-offs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform data analysis to empower leaders to make informed decisions, identify opportunities to drive improvement and help the teams define operational KPI’s.

• Provide oversite for operational controls, legal changes and operational activities like new store openings to ensure a level of operational excellence is in place across multiple teams

• Own small system enhancements partnering with Nike technology, but truly drive end to end process success for the changes by partnering with the operational subject matter experts. Communicate key decisions and corresponding impacts across teams to ensure integrated plans and solutions are delivered

• Elicit requirements from business stakeholders related to HR systems and processes & resolve business requirement questions throughout the duration of the programs

• Work with business readiness teams to quantify and prepare for project impacts and transition

• Develop business cases for opportunities for improvements and consult with business leaders on best practices to implement initiatives and lead prioritization / trade off discussions

Qualifications

• Must have experience working on projects or change initiatives as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from or as part of an HR function

• Track record of working in HR operations, or an analytical background preferably with payroll, workforce administration or total rewards experience.

Key Skills

The successful candidate will have;

• Effective Communication - Often called upon to present findings or dig deeper to identify root cause you will need to write and speak clearly in English, have strong facilitation skills and be able to draw out key takeaways from a wide variety of subject matter experts talking through complex topics.

• Analytical skills – Working with large amounts of data, multiple systems, teams and country specifics you will be called upon to analyze opportunities and identify KPI’s or success criteria to support prioritization and decision making

• Ambition & drive - Create value and build capabilities, stretching areas of responsibility, maximizing the potential of the role.

Preferred Skills

• Lean process experience or equivalent methodology

• BPMN – business process model and notation background

• Insight generation and storytelling experience.

• Advanced Excel capabilities

• Experience creating business cases

• Minimum of 1-3 years directly relevant work experience. Postgraduate certificate or degree would be a plus

• SAP HR experience
