Role Summary: Drive and Lead the full marketing planning process for JD through integrated partnerships with the Brand Category & Digital Manager(s), Visual Merchandising Manager, the Account and our Agency Partners. Define project scope and manage overall workflow to deliver high quality executions against budget and timelines.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities include:

  • Partner closely with JD Category Brand Managers, JD Digital Brand Manager, EMEA Category and JD Visual Merchandising manager to align on seasonal plans and ensure timely project kick-off.

  • Creates and Maintains JD Group Concept Maps to track on progress against each concept and initiative, consumer, retail and cultural moments.

  • Initiates category briefing process with clear project scope, timings, budgets, milestones and deliverables

  • Collaborates with the account’s marketing team on a day-to-day basis to ensure flawless execution.

  • Deliver timely and relevant communication to all partners to ensure alignment,

  • Continuously reviews and re-calibrates our game plan process, against output against priorities and deadlines.

  • Ensures project information is organized and distributed to all team players in a timely manner with key focus on Action Items or inputs from team.

  • Responsible for tracking and managing JD Group’s budgets including raising purchase orders for external agencies and vendors and tracking monthly to ensure that account is tracking on forecast

  • Stays abreast of current brand, design and retail trends and technologies, including design + production best practices and emerging creative and production platforms.

  • Drive the tear-down and evaluation process for each initiative with the focus on continual improvement from execution, budget and process perspective across all functions.

Qualifications

  • Strong Project Management Experience: 5 years experience in a project management, (retail)marketing and/or marketing operations role handling large project budgets and business impact.

  • Strong organization skills: Ability to prioritize and organize workload in response to often aggressive timelines.

  • Communication and presentation skills: Strong ability to effectively communicate with people across all different levels, internally and externally. Be able to communicate and negotiate with outside vendors and project management firms.

  • Financial acumen: Budget, planning and financial management

  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key account, and internal partners that drive deep insights and collaboration.

  • Networking: Experience building relationships internally and with account partners to drive process and execution.

  • High Personal Standards: We must execute flawlessly. Everyday. The consumer demands it

  • Strategic Thinking: Have a vision for the future and be able to create long-term strategic account plans to bring the vision to life
