Description

Our Strategy team keeps the company moving in the right direction by leading the strategic business planning process and spearheading transformational projects. Strategy professionals explore complex business issues; conduct consumer, competitive and market analyses; create financial models and develop action plans. The Strategy team helps write the future by charting the path forward.

In this role, you'll work directly with the VP of Geographies and Sales to develop and execute Converse’s global long-term growth strategy with a focus on wholesale and owned marketplace business acceleration. You'll independently lead cross-functional special project teams to help identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities and/or strategic problems, and to catalyze action against these priorities through strategic and long-range business planning and performance management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive the strategic planning process, including thedevelopment of short- and long-term strategic plans

  • Lead quantitative and qualitative analytical work thatunlocks business insights and drives sound decision-making on key businessissues

  • Catalyze action by leading project work streams thatturn strategic priorities and initiatives into executable plans

  • Develop and communicate strategic plans, scorecards andbusiness solutions through high-impact, executive level presentations

  • Identify relevant performance measures and driveaccountability for on-going performance against business and strategicobjectives by preparing for and leading regular business reviews

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred

  • Minimum of 7 years' total experience (3years' experience post MBA) in management consulting, corporate strategicplanning, corporate development, business development, finance or relatedfields

  • 2 additional years' experience in lieu of anadvanced degree

  • Previous management consulting experience ata top tier consulting firm is highly preferred

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teamsand provide project management support

  • Demonstrated ability to complete quantitativeand qualitative analysis and financial models

  • Proven ability to conduct and/or analyzeresearch related to consumers, industries and competitors

  • Problem structuring and strategic problemsolving skills

  • Technical corporate finance and valuationskills

  • Excellent written and oral communicationskills

  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projectsat once
