Description

This role supports the business by providing operational excellence through the systems, so Converse can successfully transact. Analyzes product data and systems from a global level.

Management andAdministration of Data

  • Understands dynamics ofall corporate business processes and tools at Converse.

  • Provides timely,accurate and efficient administration, governance, maintenance, cleansing andvalidation of the appropriate global product creation systems, financeapplications and reporting tools.

  • Reviews and validatesaccurate global product data information across all corporate systems,including cost and price information for Sarbanes Oxley compliance.

  • Monitors and trackssupporting tables of data to ensure business reporting accuracy.

  • Maintains systemdocumentation, including standardized work instructions and operatingprocedures to be available for all users.

Drive Improvements andIssue Resolutions

  • Supports business andsystem process reviews with key stakeholders for potential data processimprovements and deploys solutions.Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

  • Supports the deploymentof improvements into our operational practices for the applications supported.

  • Facilitates thedevelopment of solution improvements and assesses the impact of potentialsolutions on other business processes.

  • Facilitates theexecution of testing by the business to meet sign off.

  • Provide, on a regularand ad-hoc basis, analysis & reporting on product data.

  • Identify systemenhancements and/or processes that ensure data integrity/standardization andinformation security.

Meetings & Projects

  • Participate in specialprojects as a team member.

  • Provide analysis andsupport to project teams.

  • Participate infunctional discussion and initiatives across departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree inBusiness, Finance, Economics or related field.

  • At least 2year's work experience in an operational related environment (footwear orapparel product experience preferred).

  • Footwear and/or Apparelindustry experience highly preferred.

  • Proficient in MicrosoftOffice applications, especially Microsoft Excel.

  • Knowledge of BusinessObjects reporting system, SAP, and Flex PLM preferred.

  • Effective verbal andwritten communication skills.

  • Ability to clearlyarticulate policies and instructions.
