Overview:

Leading with Digital, Converse is setting a bold strategic plan to enable and inspire consumer self-expression by positioning converse.com as the first and best source for authentic Converse products and experiences.

As our eCommerce Planning Manager for North America Digital Commerce, you are responsible for developing financial product plans designed to support our overall business objectives. Responsibilities

Merchandise Planning:

  • Manages the financialsuccess of the business by meeting sales, gross margin, and inventory turngoals.

  • Develops the tops-down andbottoms-up product and financial strategies inclusive of sales, margin, andinventory across all categories of Converse.com.

  • Partners with Business Opsand Buying to create and manage inventory budgets and forecasts.

  • Responsible for building theassortment framework inclusive of growth assortment opportunities/productivity,style/sku targets, newness, flow deliveries, pricing, and season code.

  • Collaborates with Buying tocreate pre-season and in season sales, GM, and inventory plans bydivision/category that support product strategies and meet financial targets.

  • Develops and presents in-seasondivision/category sales, inventory forecast, and strategies in OTB process.

  • Identifies risks andopportunities across key product categories recommending course of action tooptimize sales and inventory.

  • Recaps and analyzes salesperformance on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis to recommend comprehensivepre-season, in-season, and hindsight strategies.

Reportingand Data Management:

  • A strong emphasis onunderstanding, communicating and supporting the successful operations of thevarious tracking and reporting systems. This requires extremely strong exceland analytical skills to pivot tops-down and bottoms-up to achieve highaccuracy and efficiency.

  • Acts as a go-to resourcewith cross-functional team in reconciling and resolving issues in various dailysales, inventory and product selling reports.

  • Develops key reports anddashboards for better data flow across functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree orequivalent.

  • Minimum 5 to 7 yearsMerchandise Planning/Buying/Inventory Management experience in a retailenvironment, preferably Digital.

  • Advanced knowledge of theprinciples of Merchandise Planning, Inventory and Allocation as well as eCommerceOperations.

  • Ability to quickly pivotmindset/approach based on needs of business.

  • Understanding of basiceCommerce business metrics and an ability to contextual apply businessobjectives to financial planning

  • Strong analytical and data management expertise,with an ability to create business models and translate data to varyingstakeholders

  • Ability to identify the metrics to drive success, measure KPIs,socialize understanding and drive initiatives to completion.

  • Outstanding team player with a positive attitude. Proactive, witha strong sense of ownership and accountability
