Description

Our Strategy team keeps the company moving in the right direction by leading the strategic business planning process and spearheading transformational projects. Strategy professionals explore complex business issues; conduct consumer, competitive and market analyses; create financial models and develop action plans. The Strategy team helps write the future by charting the path forward.

In this role, you'll work directly with senior leadership to develop and execute Converse’s global long-term growth strategy. You'll independently lead cross-functional special project teams to help identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities and/or strategic problems, and to catalyze action against these priorities through strategic and long-range business planning and performance management.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategic planning process, including the development of short- and long-term strategic plans

  • Lead quantitative and qualitative analytical work that unlocks business insights and drives sound decision-making on key business issues

  • Catalyze action by leading project work streams that turn strategic priorities and initiatives into executable plans

  • Develop and communicate strategic plans, scorecards and business solutions through high-impact, executive level presentations

  • Identify relevant performance measures and drive accountability for on-going performance against business and strategic objectives by preparing for and leading regular business reviews

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred

  • Minimum of 7 years' total experience (3 years' experience post MBA) in management consulting, corporate strategic planning, corporate development, business development, finance or related fields

  • 2 additional years' experience in lieu of an advanced degree

  • Previous management consulting experience at a top tier consulting firm is highly preferred

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and provide project management support

  • Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial models

  • Proven ability to conduct and/or analyze research related to consumers, industries and competitors

  • Problem structuring and strategic problem solving skills

  • Technical corporate finance and valuation skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once
