Description

We are looking for a leader with a strong POV on how a 100-year-old company with one of the most beloved, widely adopted products in the world can be built around relationships. As Converse continues to develop our direct to consumer offense one of the largest building blocks will be how we connect with unique audiences. We need someone with a track record of creating unique solutions to reach their audience in a way that adds value to their lives and helps make the company understand what consumers we serve. The opportunity for Converse to take that passionate group and serve them as a community is massive. We need someone that is equal parts evangelist and equal parts operator to lead this group. The right leader will hear that challenge and instantly envision what Converse Membership can be 3-5 years from now and know the right steps to make that journey add value from day 1.

We need someone who can build a culture that is equally comfortable debating key metrics as well as defining a vision of how membership impacts all aspects of Converse. The right person would have experience hiring and managing great talent and a strong POV on what the team needs to be successful, yet also have the personality to roll up your sleeves and do the work. Similarly, you have experience building momentum and aligning multiple constituencies within large organizations. You are capable of defining a vision, marshaling resources, executing on an initiative and presenting the results to the greater organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the membershipoffense for Converse as part of Global Marketing and the Global DigitalOrganization. You must be the bridge of knowledge of our consumers

  • You'll work closely withstakeholders across Marketing, Product, Customer Experience, Support andEngineering teams, as well as outside agencies/vendors, to design and delivercommunications and experiences that educate, inspire and delight consumers atkey moments in their lifecycle across multiple touchpoints

  • Defining the vision androadmap to advance Converse’s membership efforts centered on continuousadvancements to our customer segmentation and messaging orchestration.

  • Partner closely with the.com, media, email and social teams to drive audience segmentation approachesfocused on getting the right product in front of the right consumer at theright time. This could range from always available Chuck Taylors toextreme limited edition shoe launches.

  • Drive the POV on the rightdata platform partners for membership. Stay on top of the latest technologyadvancements and offering new insights to our business partners on how to drivebusiness value with the tools we have as well as through enhancements and newtools

  • Be a key driver in the POVon how audiences can impact things ranging from media, to personalization ofsite experiences, to value of e-mail communication + triggers.

  • Work across teams designing the tools,capabilities, and dashboards so that the business can be empowered byunderstanding business performance through a member lens.

  • Experience thriving in afast-paced, high growth environment. Results-driven with the ability toanticipate needs. Nimble and flexible with regards tochanging priorities & business needs.

  • Strong passion forpredictive analytics, big data, and digital marketing.

  • Passion for leadership andculture development with the ability to inspire and motivate others across thecompany.

  • Bachelor's degree orequivalent experience.

  • 10+ years' totalexperience, global experience a plus.
