Description

At our headquarters, located in downtown Boston, we are looking for a Digital Commerce Marketing Manager for the Global Partner Markets division. Global Partner Markets is a team that leads, inspires, educates and empowers our partners (Converse distributors and licensees around the world) through programs, directives and toolkits that enable us to elevate the brand and drive growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the GPM cross functional team (particularly DTC Digital Manager, DTC Buyer, Retail Marketing Managers and Digital Mktg Mgr. (Social Media)) to align goals and roadmaps; provide support to continually launch new digital experiences for the Converse consumer

  • Responsible for defining the e-comm/DTC.com marketing roadmaps in support of business objectives and consumer journey

  • Create seasonal digital content and digital marketing plans from strategy to execution

  • Leverage Global and create GPM seasonal digital assets (multi-angle photography, copy, banners and content) to fully support the suggested GPM seasonal assortments and product priorities that are relevant for the region (e.g. northern/southern hemisphere)

  • Partner with Social Media Manager to deliver assets designed for display and paid social campaigns in alignment with industry best practices

  • Develop integrated digital marketing campaigns (email, display, SEM, SEO, etc.) designed to meet various business objectives and achieve seasonal and 360-degree communication strategies

  • Support Regional Marketing Managers on how to direct DCI spend for the digital commerce marketing function and track

  • Develop new approaches to connect with consumers in support of the Digital Commerce Marketing ecosystem

  • Continuously engage with new platforms, providing recommendations to partners to establish Converse’s digital marketing efforts as innovative

  • Support DTC Digital Manager directing partners on performance tracking and gathering data to understand trends and identify successes and opportunities. Link them to overall brand metrics for evaluation of strategy vs. execution

  • Drive efforts to increase conversion and ignite brand engagement on all devices (.com and mobile)

  • Be constantly in tune with customer needs/tastes, competitive landscape, evolving business strategies, and the analytical data associated with the overall conversion funnel

  • Be the champion for the voice of the customer and support DTC Digital Manager having a keen eye for conversion and engagement friction points across our partners’ sites. Be able to direct our partners through A|B testing and other testing methodologies (DTC Digital Manager to lead effort)

  • Define agency engagement and relationships

  • Collaborate with DTC Digital Manager to:

  • define near-term user experience development projects, providing concept, direction, vision, and critical evaluation of projects

  • develop consumer experience test plans (user testing) and experience measurement plans

Inputs:

  • AOP, clear priorities and actions for the team and individuals

  • Seasonal Retail Brand strategy and Retail Seasonal Map/Supermap

  • Seasonal product priorities, calendar, commercial events

  • Seasonal hindsight and metrics (future state)

  • Seasonal category assortments 6 – 12 months out

  • Seasonal Global Assets

  • Individual AOP and tactical roadmap that aligns to team’s vision

  • Foundational Playbooks, Functional Guidelines

  • Support for GPM .com sites

  • Support for Top Account e-comm sites in Key Markets

  • Hi-level monthly recaps for .com and top e-comm sites

  • Digital Agency Roster

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field

  • 5+ years experience in Digital Commerce for a digital retailer or brand, or a multi-store retailer or wholesaler with digital presence

  • Understanding of the eCommerce landscape including technologies, vendors, industry experts and resources. Knowledge and connection to emerging technologies that will influence roadmaps and unlock business opportunities.

  • Proven track record growing consumer data bases across channels

  • Proven track record in integrated digital marketing campaigns (email, display, SEM, SEO, etc.)

  • Passionate advocate for the consumer with experience in consumer research and testing methodologies

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams, prioritizing workload, deliverables, and timelines

  • Experience providing direction to agencies, ability to manage a budget

  • Preferred experience working with multicultural and cross-functional teams across different locations / time zones.

  • Strong analytical skills and multi-variate testing experience with a passion for using data to identify optimizations and future opportunities.

  • Ability to identify the metrics to drive success, measure KPIs, socialize understanding and drive initiatives to completion.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset, creative thinking and problem solving

  • Nimble and flexible with regards to changing priorities & business needs.
