As part of the Northern Territory Brand team you will drive the Incubate business for our pinnacle accounts, developing, executing and measuring Incubate led plans which connect the Converse brand to our consumers & communities in a meaningful and engaging way. Building the brand, obsessing the consumer journey across different platforms while driving commercial return.

We are looking for someone who is an open & creative thinker, with a start-up mindset, able to work both independently and collaboratively with teams and peers to translate consumer needs, wants, attitudes and behaviors into tangible insights that inform functions and territory marketing plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

BRAND

  • Lead seasonal Incubate initiatives and 360 partner programs frominitial pitch through to in-market execution across a variety of channels, anda variety of needs (product launches, brand storytelling, consumer activations& events) for the Northern Territory pinnacle doors.

  • Generate engaging retail programming and marketing plans thatsupport regional initiatives and drive product demand, based on the deepunderstanding of consumer & Northern Territory pinnacle retail realitieswith a specific focus on Berlin.

  • Own and lead relationships with our pinnacle partners to grow our brand’sshare of voice and ultimately our business and act as the Northern Territorybrand ambassador towards these key communities.

  • Understand the consumer, the competitive market, the influencerand its impact on the account.

  • Work closely with Converse WE Team, Incubate and Retail Brandfunctions to integrate and maximise plans.

PLANNING & OPERATIONS

  • In partnership with Commercial, identify focus accounts’ needs andmost potential channels where the Brand can play a stronger role.

  • Together with the Incubate Sales Team, build and execute 3Ystrategic plans for priority accounts creating a clear 3Y vision and plan toachieve it.

  • Manage the Incubate budget, including monthly invoicing.

  • Lead the creation of brand presentations, internal communications andcampaign reports. Track performance ofcampaigns against set KPI’s.

  • Lead relationships with third party agency partners, ensuring Converseworks with the best in class, most creative and disruptive partners.

  • Optimize processes to ensure programs are executed on strategy, ontime and on budget.

  • Track competitive activities and use that as a source of benchmark toensure Converse’s programs are innovative.

  • Act as a lead stakeholder linking PR, Commercial and Operations to ensure alignment between sales goals, product assortment andmarketing initiatives.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 4-5 years working in brand marketing, ideally witha specific focus on pinnacle accountmarketing and a strong focus on digital

  • Thoroughknowledge of the Northern Territory/Berlin marketplace and ability to create astructured process within it

  • Akeen eye for design, a passion for storytelling and some strong sneaker love

  • Actionoriented: Must be a self-starter and able to work and make independently sounddecisions in a timely manner. Be able to get things done under pressure.

  • Strongorganizational skills and Flexibility: Ability to prioritize and organizeworkload in response to aggressive timelines. Ability to be flexible and to quicklyunderstand new information and situations to an always evolving environment

  • Communicationskills: Strong ability to communicate with people across all different levels,nationalities and cultures within and outside the organization.

  • Networking:Establish relationships with key accounts, specialty accounts, geographicalheadquarter, vendors and maintain these relationships

  • Teamplayer: Must be tactful with a strong team orientation. Proven ability to workwith a team, give inputs, negotiate and support others. Able to work withdifferent cultures
