Nike is looking for aNIKE Young Athletes Brand Manager for Berlin Central

responsible to provide brand management, strategic leadership, functional excellence and direction for the Young Athletes category within the Berlin Central Brand Management & Category team.

Based in Berlin, you willbe in charge of the creation and implementation of a strategic brand plan and the management of execution across the Berlin Centralregion to fuel consumer demand, drive brand strength and strengthen the connection with Young Athlete consumers and their parents.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership, Vision and Strategic Planning

  • Be the category brandleader for Nike Young Athletes in Berlin Central. Act as the primary category brandconnection point for the Berlin Centralregion. Ensure central consumer and brand pov are included in EMEAmarketing plans.

  • Timely and effectivedelivery of seasonal Marketing Plans.

  • Drive cross businessmarketing budget process for the category, ensuring visibility of allrelevant category and functional spend and influence alignment againstpriorities (geographical and functional).

Consumer Connectivity

  • Lead consumerconnectivity and concept development. Lead the process to gain insightfrom consumers in every aspect. Identify cultural trends within the youngathletes’ consumer audience with a strong focus on Berlin.

  • Integrate the countryvoice through regular input sessions on consumer insights and emergingtrends with EMEA Nike Young Athlete teams.

  • Assess key conceptsagainst young athletes’ insights to drive a robust concept map.

Drive execution of category marketing plan

  • Drive excellence inbrand execution of Nike Young Atheltes category initiatives, maximizingthe creation of demand and sustained consumer connectivity, offline and especiallyonline.

  • Ensure alignment,creativity and insight in all marketing disciplines and focus on crossfunctional execution of marketing programs

  • Work with functionalmarketing teams to plan & design a specific role for each marketingfunction to enhance impact of messages. Integrate communication across allrelevant marketing levers, elevating the most important / relevant leverseason after season.

People Management and Leadership

  • Serve as a key memberof the Nike Young Athletes category brand team in central and WE and workwith the Brand Functions (Retail Brand, Brand and CorporateCommunications, Digital Brand and Sports marketing) in leading planning,development and executions of brand integrated marketing initiatives forNike Young Athletes.

  • Provide clearcommunication across the matrix, and across EMEA and the countries. Act asan advocate for the Nike Young Atheltes category, the Young Athletes consumer,and the Nike Brand as a whole and enable the virtual team.

  • Regularlycommunication and feed back to WE and countries on progresses andevolution of strategies and priorities, to ensure constant regionalalignment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevantwork experience in the area of (Brand) Marketing

  • Preferred in-depth knowledgeand experience in kids and sports marketing. The candidate needs abilityto bring consumer insights from the boards to the desk, build, develop andmanage projects; interprets customer needs, assesses requirements andidentifies solutions to non-standard requests.

  • Strong team skills, ashe/she will be part of the different virtual teams, inspiring, motivating,facilitating and leading them to their best level of execution.

  • Ability to interact,network, build credibility for both themselves and the Nike brand

  • Digital and communityMarketing knowledge

  • Communicateeffectively inside and outside the organization

  • Ideally from Berlin orsoild understanding of the Berlin Marketplace and Consumer Playground

  • Fluent in German andEnglish (written and spoken)

  • Ability to travel
