We believe diversity drives innovation and we are committed to an environment that is empowering and inclusive. As a result, we are hiring a VP, Global Diversity and Inclusion.

As the VP, Global Diversity and Inclusion, you will manage Nike’s diversity and inclusion strategy working with our global employee base, our partners, our brand, and our communities around the world.

This role will be responsible for envisioning, creating and implementing plans to promote diversity and inclusion across Nike.

The VP, Global Diversity and Inclusion will work with the Chief D&I Officer and senior company leadership to collectively develop Nike’s D&I strategy and bring new, innovative thinking as we evolve and outline a plan that reflects our current priorities to address company culture, business and people.

Successful applicants will have the following skills & experience:

  • A seasoned practitioner and leader in Diversity & Inclusion with past experience envisioning, creating and leading an enterprise D&I strategy that resulted in positive, measurable results.

  • Proven ability to create systems-based change management programs that reflect strong cultures of empowerment, inclusion, respect and opportunity for all employees

  • Experience promoting and developing training programs to enhance employee understanding on inclusions issues.

  • Comfort navigating in a highly-matrixed environment.

  • Be a dynamic communicator with the ability to influence at executive levels, present to large audiences, and represent the company externally.

  • Able to quickly build and manage strategic partnerships with internal and external key stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to inspire and develop a team to drive high performance, engagement and professional growth

  • Drive innovation in the right place – challenging where we can leverage external best practices develop innovative approaches to enterprise D&I here at Nike.

  • Deep knowledge of D&I best practices with high level of awareness of global and cultural issues as well as emerging trends and policies globally

  • Demonstrated skills in program management focused on outcomes, systems thinking, data and analytics, cross group coordination across all levels of the organization.

  • Significant background and experience working within Human Resources with experience advising on diversity and inclusion programs related to training, leadership development, recruitment, promotions, retention and employment branding

  • Demonstrated success working with employee resource groups to drive strategic alignment with the global D&I strategy with proven results positively impacting education, advocacy, cultural awareness and development.
