Your Role on the Team

We are looking for User Experience (UX) Designers who excel in team environments, have a superb aesthetic sense, a real passion for great design, brand, craft, and design fidelity to guide research and design processes and collaborate with product management and members of other UX and Engineering teams to create amazing experiences.

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with Product Managers and engineers to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch

• Combine desk-based and field research to get a full picture of who you are designing for

• Identify and detail core features and personas for a product

• Create information architecture, site map and paper prototypes

• Create wireframes (from basic to interactive), run user and A/B testing for wireframes and iterate based on feedback

• Create visual design by converting wireframes into mockups that include final imagery, color, and typograph

• Run visual design full usability tests by participants who match the identified personas

• Use user tracking, A/B testing and other relevant techniques to refine the product UX after release to production

• Help create a creative and holistic thinking across diverse product releases, platforms and devices

• Be a key contributor to UX vision, along with a plan for evolutionary, iterative updates, that actualize the larger vision over time

Qualifications

• Masters’ or Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in UX design at a creative interactive agency or in-house interactive team

• 5+ years of experience with design tools, such as Sketch, Keynote, Adobe CS, etc.

• Ability to work comfortably with HTML / CSS / JS.

• Familiarity with data visualization software (D3, Tableau, etc)

• Demonstrated experience (including supporting examples) with distilling complex processes into simple, clear, user interactions

• Fluent in creating quick and dirty prototypes for web and/or mobile app experiences

• Experience with participating in projects in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline development team environment

• Exposure to Agile and test-driven development

• Exposure to hierarchical and distributed code repository management tools like GIT

• Great communications skills
