Description

As part of Nike’s Global Sourcing and Manufacturing (GSM) organization, the Sr. Technology Transition Manager (TTM) will be part of the Manufacturing Modernization (MM) team working closely with the Footwear category teams enabling the making of great product that support our manufacturing goals of speed, innovation, and sustainability within our factories. You will connect modernized manufacturing technologies and Category product line plans (through planning, analysis, and communication) and create transition plans for successful category adoption. You will use category long-term product and market strategies to inform our future modernization technology and manufacturing needs.

In this role, you will be part of a team working across multiple categories and functions creating transition plans for successful adoption of new technologies across all Footwear categories and factories. You must be a self-motivated and creative thinker with outstanding communication skills who is comfortable influencing across the matrix. You will use sound change management practices and be responsible for understanding the different technologies in order to communicate to category and functional teams to facilitate their adoption. You will work to connect category needs to manufacturing opportunities that will maximize our ability to meet the stated goals of all functions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders in Asia, ManRev and across product teams to act as a conduit on category transition plans to the offshore teams and factories in Taiwan, Korea, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, and India.

A successful candidate must be a good communicator, a strong collaborator, have the ability to proactively influence, and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. A solid understanding of the product creation and Footwear manufacturing processes is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and minimum of 3 years directly relevant work experience.

• Product Creation, Manufacturing and/or Engineering experience is preferred.

• Factory planning and good understanding of change management with an ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects at one time a plus.

• Experience working in an overseas manufacturing environment desired.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, networking, and influencing skills.

• Excellent people skills and a capacity to work with and understand diverse cultures.

• Willingness to coach and be coachable, always.

• Ability to travel internationally.
