Description

As the Sr. Director of Digital Go to Market Operations, you will lead this body of work from developing strategy through to managing execution, including monitoring results and implementing edits to optimize. The role is part strategy, part team management, part program management, part execution; all at a senior level. Overseeing the digital sales foundation including Enterprise-wide Customer Data, Customer Communications and wholesale website. Additionally, you will be responsible for seasonal preparation including customer experience and overall readiness. You will also provide digital insights.

You will be leading a team who works with cross-functional teams such as Global Sales, Geography Sales, Nike Technology, Merchandising, Legal, Finance, Operations, and external vendors. The work will require strong influencing skills, given (1) the nature of the role is to drive process improvements often upstream and (2) you will be required to manage, align and present the work to senior Nike leadership from various parts of the business. The execution will also require a coalition of vendors requiring you to evaluate, determine and in-part manage their partnership with Nike. This role will report into the VP Digital Go to Market and Nike.net.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or related field

  • 2 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree

  • 10+ years relevant work experience in digital commerce, athletic and/or consumer products industries with key experience in Retail (multi-channel/Digital)

  • Strong proven abilities managing and implementing operational processes, policies, procedures, and methodologies

  • Demonstrates strong capabilities in stakeholder/matrix management across functions

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with ability to clearly articulate goals/objectives/vision

  • Ability to champion needs cross functionally and influence where necessary (across various levels of the organization)

  • Ability to lead teams, both direct and indirect and drive functional leadership
