They constantly push for ways to make Nike’s supply chain faster, more efficient and more responsive to Nike’s always-changing consumer needs.

Description

Consumer Demand is Nike Demand. At our core DSM is there to serve the Athlete. It all starts with understanding the needs of the consumer, translating them in the right Line Plan, forecasting the consumer demand against products and ensuring we are sending the right demand signal to the supply teams so we ensure we serve that Athlete at the right time, at the right quantity and at the right place.

The IDAP program is at the heart of the DSM strategy to plan Consumer Demand. It will drive one planning process in one system across wholesale planning, Nike Direct planning and Demand Planning in the geo’s and in WHQ. It is about balancing Tops down planning with bottoms up Assortment planning. The IDAP EPIC leader is the linking pin between the product teams, SEC and the business stakeholders. The IDAP EPIC leader drives all business related decisions (scoping, design and schedule) to ensure scope is aligned to strategic vision and IDAP achieves the desired business value. The IDAP EPIC lead owns the business case and works with the relevant teams to drive benefit realization. That includes change management and transition management approach.
