Description

As a Program Management Director in Global Sourcing and Manufacturing, you will be part of a high performing team delivering new capabilities and value to the enterprise. This role is critical to the execution of Global Sourcing and Manufacturing (GSM) strategic initiatives. The team’s work sits at the core of GSM and across internal and external stakeholder groups. Within your role, you will bring your project management experience to establish and implement best in class project management practices, standards, tools, and processes, enabling delivery of solutions that drive the highest value for Nike. In addition, you'll get to work alongside truly talented teams and help them enhance their performance by promoting collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Program and Project teams to develop, implement, and execute the program management framework for GSM programs.

• Support the definition of program scope, goals, and deliverables.

• Support the breakdown of program tasks and resource requirements.

• Develop full scale project plans and the governance model, including integration of 3rd party work-plans and dependencies.

• Establish strong working relationships with program managers from the core supporting capabilities, and ensure all work is smoothly coordinated.

• Constantly and consistently track project deliverables using appropriate tools and best practices.

• Present updates on project progress, problems and solutions regularly.

• Drive risk management and change management activities.

• Ensure program is aligned with business strategies and budgets.

• Manage project dependencies within the program and build the program teams.

• Act as an escalation point for project issues that impact projects’ cost, schedule and / or performance.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or related field.

• 7-10 years’ experience leading and managing large-scale programs; should include comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or as a leader in a functional role.

• Formal training in project or portfolio management methodologies and/or certifications

• Demonstrated success in cross-functional integration/relationships and program execution

• Deep understanding of application and execution of program metrics and KPI’s

• Ability to drive large-scale change/projects and lead enterprise-wide transition management efforts

• Expert level project/program management skills. Lean process design experience preferred.

• Proven track record of being results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals.

• Proven presentation and facilitation skills.

• Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others.

• Excellent written and oral communications skills

• Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments

• Experience working in a highly matrixed organization

• Demonstration of strong influencing skills
