Do you want to innovate and lead in the Solution Architecture space? Then join Nike's Enterprise Architecture organization. You will be part of an organization that is revolutionizing Nike technology platforms. We architect a technology landscape that is simplified, modern, flexible and will ultimately enable Nike on its journey to 2020 and beyond.

We provide architectural support to the Brand Marketing, Sports Marketing, and Marketplace Development teams here at Nike. Our business partners craft how Nike shows up in the marketplace. Whether it's creating and handling the digital assets that bring the brand to life, finding the next top Nike athlete, or patrolling how and where products are presented. They're crafting a vision for the future of sport, and you'll be there to enable them through the future of technology.

What you'll do:

  • You'll lead solution architecture efforts, including solution designs and end to end architectures.

  • Define technical vision and strategies that lead to exceptional solutions and greater business agility.

  • Craft domain roadmaps that guide technical architectures and drive priority conversations.

  • Partner with delivery leaders on technology and vendor assessments.

  • Bring innovative technology to bear on problems, and promote the art of the possible.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in performing the responsibilities of solution architecture and technology roadmap creation.

  • 3+ years as a lead architect guiding other architects.

  • 10+ years combined hands-on engineering experience with public cloud, distributed computing, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), and custom developed solutions.

  • Large enterprise experience including global experience with solution design.

  • Consistent record of leading within complex organizations requiring strong influence management skills - ability to work cooperatively at all levels in matrix environment.

  • Strong facilitation skills and experience in handling senior stakeholder relationship, partnership and interactions.

  • Extraordinary collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills with ability to facilitate technology strategy, requirements and architecture conversations with all partners (management, business users, and technology resources).

  • Self-starter with high motivation and passion who thrives in an ever-changing, exciting environment with the ability to adapt to change.

  • Strong leadership, confidence, and influencing skills.
