Description

As the Manufacturing Planning Manager, you will lead and manage E2E planning functions for the business in Air Manufacturing Innovation. You will set defined priorities with a cross-functional leadership team to support the manufacturing process. This will include assisting in identifying, troubleshooting, supporting, and resolving issues surrounding demand and supply chain. Collaborating with production, maintenance quality, and the warehouse to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the manufacturing planning process. Setting individual and team goals that measure and monitor performance to support the business initiatives and managing financial budget.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Integrate and coordinate with leadership to ensure goals, objectives and targets are met while maintaining communication and information flow to support a 24-hour operation

• Analyze and measure the effectiveness of capacity planning and recommend practices and procedures that result in measurable improvement that support business initiatives

• Create compelling analysis and forecast assumptions to formulate, implement, and monitor plans

• Partner with Manufacturing and Support Departments to communicate upcoming planned demand that allows for coordination of resources to meet business expectations

• Analyze and understand root cause, define sustainable solutions, develop action and communication plans, implement and review results to streamline planning and procurement

• Coach and manage staff, set departmental goals, support development, make hiring decisions, and drive performance management, recognition, and rewards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or equivalent

• Minimum 8 years' relevant work experience in Demand, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing functions

• Additional 2 years' work experience in lieu of degree

• Expert understanding of the upstream and downstream Supply Chain processes

• Excellent presentation and high-profile communication skills

• Proven leadership and team management skills

• Strong financial acumen including exposure to budget responsibility in previous positions

• Experience in planning within manufacturing environment preferred
