Participate in activities such as work planning, process development, resource optimization, employee goal setting, coaching, hiring decisions, and performance monitoring in Beaverton, OR. Will train and mentor staff. Will develop codes, configure applications, and define job schedules for high-risk, highly complex requirements. Will install software and software updates for critical systems. Will execute and deploy code across environments. Will approve and conduct design and code reviews. Will create critical-path, high-risk, advanced and cross-functional technical designs. Will collaborate with other teams on integration needs and design. Will contribute to database design and will ensure consistent technical approach within the department. Will participate and contribute to the overall architectural footprint, direction, and standards. Will perform application support, problem solving, and issue resolution with internal and external resources. Will contribute to technical solutions by performing technical analysis and identifying options and solutions. Will contribute to the RFP process. Will identify technical issues and determine options for issue resolution and risk mitigation. Will define and communicate requirements for technical environments and determine the technical scope for projects. Will create and apply architecture, governance, security, and global process standards to system changes and deployments. Will establish, maintain, and apply coding and configuration standards and best practices. Will review and approve test plan, test execution, and validation of tests. Will conduct performance monitoring and analyze performance against benchmarks. Will analyze business requirements and create performance testing scenarios that ensure application performance meets customer needs. Will review and approve performance test results, recommendations, and tuning results. Will directly supervise 1 to 3 subordinates.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronic and Communication Engineering Experience: 5 years of overall progressive experience in software development Skills/Requirements: 2 years of experience: (1) big data frameworks, (2) Hadoop, (3) processing large volumes of data, (4) modeling data structures, (5) datawarehousing tools, including Hive and Teradata, (6) scripting languages including Unix, and (7) spark development.
