Description

Consolidated Finance Reporting:

Supports monthly reporting of the Global Reporting & Data Governance team, including:

  • Ensures timely and accurate finance reporting for internal management and external purposes;

  • Engages globally with stakeholders to understand information needs and priorities to ensure relevant and timely information

  • Works closely with IT to monitor system performance and problem solve when issues arise

Has a growth mindset; demonstrates curiosity and focuses on process improvement and automation. Creates and utilizes systems, processes and tools that positively impact productivity and accountability.

Utilizes prioritizing skills to determine where to focus efforts to drive value and connect with corporate objectives.

Metrics and Reporting:

Champions and executes on a metrics-driven culture. Supports applying, producing, and distributing metrics that support the Global Reporting & Data Governance function. Maintains and builds out metrics-based infrastructure to ensure timely, relevant and consistent reporting.

Consolidated Reporting Governance:

Supports the BPC reporting governance program, including:

  • Ensures adherence to policies and control framework

  • Ensures effective change management

  • Responsible for driving the process around changes to the consolidated book of record (BPC) and certified reports; request intake, change management and testing, as well as communication to Finance community

  • Works closely with IT to solution complex problems in multiple technology platforms

  • Supports training the Finance community on reporting fundamentals and how to use reporting tools. Assists in identifying where training efforts need to focus based on team metrics.

  • Supports training the Finance community on reporting fundamentals and how to use reporting tools. Assists in identifying where training efforts need to focus based on team metrics.

Qualifications

  • Preferred – 2 - 4 years’ relevant experience –

  • 500/multinational consumer products company preferred

  • Experience with accounting processes, financial statements and general ledger close.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate status, issues, and risks with the team.

  • MS Office and advanced Excel skills.

  • Excellent customer service and cross-functional interpersonal skills.

  • Strong desire to learn and continuously improve.

  • Must have excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize multiple projects

  • High attention to details

  • Act as an SME to leverage Company tools (SAP, BPC, EPM, BW, BEx, SharePoint, Power BI) and technology to access all required information accurately.
