Description

As our Finance Director – Demand & Supply Management you’ll be a key business partner for our Global Demand & Supply Management (“DSM”) team. Working cross-functionally, you will help support our various financial planning processes globally and analyze the strategies and operational plans that we are deploying to effectively manage Demand & Supply and better serave our Consumers.

Key accountabilities for this role will include:

  • Lead the global financial planning and reporting process for Inventory in partnership with our Geography Finance, Inventory Planning, and Controlling teams

  • Manage the preparation of timely and insightful financial analysis to determine progress against our strategic plan, budget and forecast

  • Help develop strategies and business insights that enable Nike to more effectively manage supply and demand to drive increased profitability and Inventory productivity

  • Enhance internal reporting against key financial and operational metrics to inform executive level decision making and drive accountability

  • Understand and share best practices across operating units; standardize reporting definitions and act as the primary liaison with Geography Finance Teams with respect to global process changes

  • “Connect the dots” from various data sources and communicate complex concepts and ideas in a simple way

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business related field; MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred

  • Minimum 8 years experience in finance, strategy, consulting, or related fields; previous experience in operations, retail, or product related finance a plus

  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, investment analysis, economic profit concepts, and strategic planning concepts

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations with senior management

  • Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience

  • Demonstrated ability to develop high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and layers

  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality

  • Ability to multi-task, adapt, and prioritize to drive results within a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
