Description

As our Executive Assistant, you'll provide administrative support to Nike's VP, GM Nike Ease and NXT Sustainability in the overall management of sensitive and complex administrative and legal functions. In this role, you'll handle a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities, including heavy scheduling and calendar management, meeting coordination and logistics; drafting and management of correspondence; and directing and responding to inquiries. The role will also be responsible for scheduling and managing travel, including expenses; planning and execution of multi-department events, including with VPs and org leaders within the larger global org; preparation of presentation documents for executive meetings and multiple business facing leaders; and assisting in prioritizing and highlighting actionable items.

You will also serve as a central point of contact for VP/GM Nike Ease and NXT Sustainability and will respond tactfully to inquiries and issues. The ideal candidate needs to be pro-active and demonstrate initiative, possess excellent judgment, reasoning and follow-up skills, and exhibit outstanding communication, flexibility and organizational ability. Confidence and poise in interactions with senior executives and their assistants is essential, as is handling confidential material.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred

• 10+ years experience in a senior administrative capacity supporting executive or senior leader levels

• Able to anticipate executives needs in advance

• Accessible outside of standard work hours as needed

• Impeccable communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and carry out responsibilities independently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

• Comfortable pivoting as needed to the most urgent need

• Understands how to excel in a dynamic environment

• Experience with logistics and management of staff and leadership meetings

• Advanced working knowledge of personal computers, technical expertise, including MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel

• Ability to work with a variety of personalities and maintain a sense of humor

• Demonstrated maturity, attention to detail and follow-through skills

• Must be proactive and take initiative in seeing tasks to completion

• Thrives on managing multiple tasks at one time

Previous experience managing executive communications and handling sensitive and highly confidential material is strongly preferred.
