Description

The Director of Digital Commerce Partners will be focused on growing the overall marketplace by elevating our Digital Commerce Partners, and increasing Nike’s share of voice across the digital marketplace. They will lead the geo MPD teams to achieve their growth goals and work global teams to remove roadblocks, attain needed investments, and socialize Nike’s global Partner.com strategy. This role will report into the Senior Director of Global Digital Commerce.

Responsibilities:

  • Visioning, Strategy Development and Best Practices

  • Define and build short term and long term strategic partner elevation and marketplace growth plans for Digital Commerce Partners through Nike strategic planning processes. Focusing on serving consumers, building the brand, and creating healthy growth

  • Create short term and long-term goals on increasing Nike’s voice and brand distinction for Digital Commerce Partners by focusing on; elevating the consumer experience, driving traffic, optimizing operations, uplifting assets, and having an assortment strategy

  • Utilize new and existing data to uncover areas for growth on Digital Commerce Partner sites for Nike

  • Partner with the finance and operations team to create specific Digital Commerce Partner report

Portfolio Management:

  • Create a scoring mechanism to assess our Digital Commerce Partners and create visibility to improvement opportunities which Nike can assist partners with

  • Structure a framework which outlines the role of the different Digital Commerce Partners within the overall digital marketplace

  • Continue to push ongoing efforts to syndicate reviews across Digital Commerce Partners and with Nike.com

Analytics / Reporting:

  • With our analytics teams, co-develop robust tools and capabilities to measure and evaluate the impact & performance of our partnerships

  • Build reporting tools from multiple data sets to uncover Nike specific trends and insights seen in Digital Commerce Partners and share across the organization

  • Develop a set of input KPIs to measure Nike’s progress of growing the overall marketplace, and increasing Nike’s share of voice

  • Measure the everyday Digital Commerce Partner business outputs KPIs for the Nike, focusing on sales, search ranking improvement, and conversion rate optimization.

  • Manage external data provider relationships to leverage their insights to develop Digital Commerce Partner growth strategies

Marketplace Management:

  • Assist with auditing product presentation on Digital Commerce Partner sites

Operations, Supply Chain & Fulfillment Models:

  • Innovates and establishes new ways of integration to ensure consumers have easy and fast access to Nike’s products.

  • Collaborate with Nike operations and supply chain to deliver operational requirements for our Digital Commerce Partners, minimizing costs and maximizing service levels for consumers.

Team Leadership:

  • Hire a best-in-class team with experience in the digital space

  • Develop a pipeline of future leaders for Nike

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required

  • Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in digital commerce, athletic and/or consumer products industries with key experience in Retail (multi-channel/Digital)

  • Strong proven abilities managing and implementing retail programs, policies, procedures, and methodologies

  • Demonstrates strong capabilities in stakeholder/matrix management across functions

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with ability to clearly articulate goals/objectives/vision

  • Ability to champion needs cross functionally and influence where necessary (across various levels of the organization)

  • Ability to lead teams, both direct and indirect and drive functional leadership
