Description

We are seeking a Director, Compensation & Market Insights to join the Nike Total Rewards team based in Beaverton, Oregon. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Global Compensation and will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of Nike’s cash compensation programs, market analytics, and job architecture.

Responsibilities

·Manage a team of subject matter experts and determine strategic priorities for the team that align with overall business objectives

·Monitor effectiveness of existing cash compensation policies, guidelines, and programs; provide trend analysis and recommendations for evolution

·Design and maintain global base salary and short-term incentive programs

·Own Nike’s global pay structures and job architecture including methodology for job evaluations and leveling

·Oversee aspects of annual compensation planning events including philosophy, methodology, system readiness, and salary increase budget proposals

·Monitor internal equity, ensures completion of required analyses, and make recommendations for annual market adjustments, including coordination of CBAs and statutory increases

·Provide leadership and direction on global market data initiatives, survey management, and competitive analysis

·Develop and manage framework for segmentation of compensation and benefit programs

·Stay current on compensation related legislation to ensure compliance with applicable local employment requirements

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

· 8-10 years of increasing responsibility and experience in global compensation

· 5+ years in management, leading a team of compensation subject matter experts

· Goal-oriented with ability to prioritize on a consistent basis in an evolving work environment

· Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and partner with leaders to deliver solutions that are aligned to strategy, support business objectives, and meet all legal requirements

· Demonstrated team leadership, partnership, influencing and communication experience

· Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills, including ability to prepare materials for audiences at all levels of the organization

· Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

· Deep expertise with compensation analytics, practices, and trends

· Working knowledge of employment law and practices
