Description

The Global Business Continuity Team protects Nike’s competitive advantage by proactively planning for natural hazards, man-made threats, and impacts to day-to-day business. Spanning the world, Business Continuity is composed of the Nike Intelligence Center, Employee Health & Safety, Business Recovery and Regional Business Continuity Directors.

In the role of Business Recovery Program Manager, you will establish and implement Business Recovery efforts across Nike’s global logistics, manufacturing, and business operations. You will liaise with Regional Business Continuity teams and business leaders to define Business Recovery requirements and manage the development of business recovery plans. Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: authoring global standards, formalizing Business Impact Analysis (BIA) efforts, standardizing recovery procedures, developing training materials, and assessing Third Party BCP requirements.

The successful candidate will be a highly organized, self-motivator capable of delivering timely results and professional outputs in a matrixed environment. This role reports to the Global Business Recovery Manager and supports the Global Business Continuity Team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Business Recovery standards for NIKE’s global logistics, manufacturing and business operations

  • Act as SME to formalize and drive consistent plan development, BIA execution, procedure documentation, exercise facilitation, and stakeholder trainings

  • Develop and conduct trainings to assist Business Continuity teammates and stakeholders with BIAs, recovery plan creation, and after-action reviews

  • Establish plan creation lifecycle and implement governance model to monitor plan completion

  • Develop and conduct assessment process to ensure NIKE’s Third Party partners meet Business Continuity standards

  • Identify and manage Key Performance Indicators to track plan effectiveness and overall program growth

  • Create strong relationships with stakeholders to proactively seek process improvement and foster end-user adoption

Qualifications

  • B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent required; Master’s degree preferred

  • 3+ years’ experience managing and developing business continuity plans, conducting BIAs, and documenting loss of site/tech/vendor/staff procedures; hands-on experience with supply chain, distribution center, or manufacturing operations preferred

  • +2 years managing cross-functional program and/or complex, enterprise projects

  • +2 years of experience with Business Continuity technology applications; Fusion Framework (Salesforce) preferred

  • Proficient in core technology applications; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint/Keynote, SharePoint; Experience with Asana, Tableau, and Salesforce preferred

  • Effective communication skills with ability to influence others to promote program buy-in
