Description

As the Business Operations Lead, you will be a leader in the Global Fulfillment and Logistics (GFLS) technology team. The successful candidate will bring a high level of passion and vision for building the vision and direction of the GFLS group, and a drive for supporting the development of those visions. A solid communications foundation is a must, and we are looking for a person who is passionate about working the details to ensure our organization operates effectively. In addition, you'll get to work alongside truly talented teams and help them enhance their performance by promoting collaboration and innovation.

Communications:

  • Define and establish the GFLS brand, including communication tone (internal and external), and communications strategy

  • Coordinate/oversee major organizational meetings (e.g. All-Hands, LT meetings, etc) including agenda, logistics, & run of show

  • Deliver monthly internal e-blast communications and lead weekly leadership communications end to end

  • Create and maintain GFLS Operational Calendar

  • Work with all groups within the organization to ensure objectives are aligned and integrated with unified strategy, working with functional leads to put in place goal-delivering plans.

  • Drive continual improvements and optimizations to business operations for organization

  • Develop improvement around organizational health and performance drivers including culture, sentiment, trends

Financial Optimization:

  • Develop and manage processes for achieving key dates and deliverables, such as Corporate Strategic Review, Quarterly Business Review, and Resource the Plan., including facilitation, cross-team collaboration, and final submission

  • Lead team in management of financial optimization processes

  • Work with teams to minimize variance between forecast and actual spend

Talent:

  • Oversee execution of onboarding/off-boarding experience and associated activities

  • Coordinate space planning efforts and align teams to support

  • Partner with MT and LT to execute talent processes for GFLS including mid-year and annual reviews

  • Advocate for organizational development transformation and talent planning with focus on:

  • Enhancing employee career paths

  • Developing and increasing individual skillsets

  • Strengthening the organization’s relationship with cross-functional organizations

  • Headcount projections and planning collaboration with teams and talent acquisition

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in consumer marketing, communication planning, media, targeted communications or related experience in marketing strategy, planning and implementation

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the athletic industry, as well as sport and cultural trends in the marketplace

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, including the ability to influence and motivate others in a cross-functional team

  • Ability to establish an independent view, while effectively collaborating with peers in a team environment

  • Strong analytical skills and experience creating and presenting campaign reports including ROI and conversion rates

  • Strong verbal and written communication, as well as information-seeking skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to drive recommendations

  • Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, Excel; Mac skills also highly preferred
