Description

As a Marketplace Development DirectorSouth you will take the lead on developing and executing our strategy to accelerate retail development and create the future marketplace for the Nike brand in our South Territory (Iberia, Italy, Greece). You will build retail development partnerships with our strategic multi-brand retailers, accelerate the development of digital multi-brand commerce and also look for new commerce opportunities that are strategically aligned with Nike’s vision for the market. You will be a key member of the South territory multi-brand leadership team and also the EMEA marketplace development leadership team. You will have a strong ecommerce or multi-channel retail development background and excellent strategic influencing, consulting and project delivery skills. You will be working with multiple internal and external stakeholders, so managing multiple priorities and requirements will come naturally to you.

KeyJob Accountabilities

·Develop and execute the territory plan for Marketplace Development, in partnership with Nike functions and territory multiband retailers

·In partnership with our multi-brand retailers, develop and scale digital-first consumer-centric Nike consumer Experiences (NCX), that remove friction for consumers shopping for our products and create distinction for the Nike brand

·Develop and accelerate digital partnerships with multi-brand retailers to drive growth, and elevate the Nike brand

·Input to Key City development strategy by executing city retail development plans in Milan and Barcelona

·In partnership with New Business Models Director, identify, validate and test potential new business models and commercial partnerships

·Own territory market development budget and ensure adherence to policy and process

·Align plans with cross functional stakeholders and drive action to deliver plans

Qualifications

· A minimum of 9 years’ experience in the athletic industry and/or consumer products industry.

· A minimum of 9 years’ experience in retail, especially eCommerce and/or Multi-channel retail

· Proven experience managing and implementing retail programs, policies, procedures and methodologies.

· Demonstrates strong capabilities in strategic stakeholder management

· Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives.

· Able to champion account needs both cross functionally and vertically within the organization and with the customer.

· Strong knowledge of the athletic industry both from product knowledge and marketplace trends.

· Strong knowledge of the European retail marketplace and marketplace trends.
