Description

As our Sr. Business Engagement Consultant, you'll work with key stakeholders and teams across NIKE Legal, Government and Public Affairs, Global Community Impact, Aviation, Resilience, and Strategy & Operations to:

  • Oversee technology, tools and systems across the organization, in partnership with IT

  • Build relationships and collaborate effectively with other functional areas to identify system integration opportunities

  • Facilitate identification of business problems

  • Document business requirements

  • Develop business cases

  • Consult with key stakeholders on recommendations and solution options

  • Partner with IT to develop functional specifications

  • Document as-is and to-be business processes

You will help to advance the CAO organization by identifying problems, determining effective solutions and implementing change. You will be responsible for delivering refined processes and standards in line with global direction and our strategic intent.

Additionally, you'll need to demonstrate a strong ability to rapidly assimilate and work successfully in a highly matrixed organization and forge partnerships with peers, customers, and suppliers.

Qualifications

PROJECT /TASK MANAGEMENT SKILLS

  • Strong analytical and innovative skills for strategic planning, sound decision-making, and problem solving and ability to work well under tight business driven deadlines

  • Experienced working as part of a project team gathering requirements, conducting research and task management against a timeline

  • Ability to taking larger initiatives and deconstruct the work into manageable deliverables and deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to lead large projects

  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with Business Partners and Leadership at the senior levels

  • Successful track record of leading senior level professionals to drive business outcomes, resolve issues, and build consensus

  • Strong influencing skills and ability to interact with senior management

  • Defines, with assistance from the project sponsor and functional managers, the project goals, project plan and schedule.

  • Coordinate cross-functional meetings with various functional areas

  • Maintain project documentation and disseminates information to the project stakeholders in a timely manner
