They manage accounting and reporting for Nike’s multi-billion-dollar global investment portfolio, debt and equity instruments, and other Treasury activities. NIKE is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Capital Planning team. As the main support for the Capital Planning manager you will conduct ongoing credit risk analysis, update daily, weekly, and monthly reports and assist with ad hoc projects. In addition, you will be the primary back up on the Investment portfolio. As the primary back up you will help monitor and execute daily liquidity needs, assist with new account setups and update monthly reports. You will partner with various groups within the organization including the Global Cash and Banking, Tax, Accounting and Legal to conduct various projects and execute daily deliverables.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and report on Credit and CDS markets for the investment portfolio and NIKE’s banking group

  • Report and monitor counterparty exposure limits company wide

  • Assist with investment account openings around the globe

  • Complete monthly investment reports

  • Monitor and execute daily liquidity needs

  • Provide support for investment and commercial paper execution

  • Reconcile and facilitate payments on various invoices

  • Support ad hoc project requests


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a closely related field

  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Ability to handle multiple and competing priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint

  • Strong work ethic and team player mentality

  • Ability to pass a 7 year background check
