As our Presentation Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for readiness of the AV presentation systems and infrastructure at Nike’s WHQ conference centers. You will monitor industry trends and recommend solutions that align with Nike’s style of presenting and staging of events. You will develop standard operating procedures for proper use of the presentation systems and train floor support and event technicians accordingly. You will collaborate with Nike Technology to improve conference center infrastructure, stay in front of Nike’s computer refresh and ensure networked AV systems are implemented in accordance with CIS policy. You'll also collaborate as a team to prioritize monthly operational budget spend.
Bachelor'sin events/hospitality or related field or two-year technical degree ispreferred.
Atleast 4 years' experience in related field required.
Superiorinterpersonal and customer service skills.
Strongnetworking and communication skills.
Functionalexpertise in a broad variety of presentations equipment/systems.
Ableto communicate clearly and concisely (verbally & written) and developrelationships with Meetings & Events clients, vendors, andcontractors.
Strongattention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Ableto keep manager informed of all aspects of events, projects, andresponsibilities.
Ableto work a flexible schedule driven by event business needs which mayinclude evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
Ableto travel to/from event locations and venues including those outside ofWHQ, as needed.
Advancedskills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, andPowerPoint required.
Experiencewith meeting management software and AutoCAD preferred but not required.
Ableto lift 20-30 lbs either with or withour accomodation
