Description

As a Field Sales Representative based in Los Angeles, you’ll further establish Nike as the leading brand across the West Territory by driving profitable growth for Nike and your account base. You will accomplish these objectives by partnering with your accounts’ buying teams, Category Sales, Marketplace Operations and other internal stakeholders to develop strong customer relationships, address your customers’ partnership needs, identify new consumer opportunities, and build profitable assortment plans.

This role involves soliciting, confirming and tracking orders across multiple seasons and channels; staying current on product updates; evaluating accounts’ retail sales performance; building product assortments and forecasting sales plans in Nike’s sales systems; understanding competitor and market trends; and proactively communicating Cancellation, Return-To-Vendor & Order Flow recommendations to accounts. You also will be responsible for proactively communicating account issues & opportunities, product feedback, and other important market insights to West Sales management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor'sdegree in Business, Marketing or an equivalent field is preferred

  • 2+years' additional sales experience in lieu of a degree

  • 3+years of work experience in at least one / several of the following areas:

  • Sales

  • NikeCustomer Service

  • Businessplanning

  • RetailStore Management

  • Strongcommunication skills, including the ability to elicit information,actively listen, negotiate tense situations, and successfully resolveconflict

  • A highaptitude for problem solving and finding mutually beneficial solutions forNike and our retail partners

  • Proventrack record of working within a team and with other internal stakeholdersto deliver business results and create team success

  • Strongorganizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities

  • Ability to prepare, plan, and deliver persuasive productpresentations

  • Experience working with and understanding a competitivemarketplace and retail trends

  • Ability to interpret data to inform sound businessdecisions

  • Intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Officeapplications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Intermediate Business Planning experience

  • Ability to lift and carry samples and bags weighing upto 50 lbs.

  • Ability to travel to assigned accounts and internalsales meetings up to 20% of the time
